The Supreme Court on Monday evening allowed President Donald Trump to continue his deportations of alleged Venezuelan gang members under the Alien Enemies Act, but said the detainees must be given due process to challenge their removal.
Meanwhile, Trump revealed Monday in a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahy that the U.S. is in direct talks with Iran and the the two countries would soon have “high-level” talks.
Trump and Netanyahu discussed Israel’s war with Hamas and the tariffs that the U.S. imposed on virtually all of its trading partners, which have sent world markets reeling.
